HI All,
I was exporting a movie for festival contest. Instructions gave out were the parameters of 1920 or 1280.
Mpeg4 or h.264.
When I exported a 5 minute movie in Mpeg4 at 1280 I had a 13GB file on my hands! Much to big. Looked great! 16bit depth
When I exported as a h.264 my options for h.264 out I have choices of codec from Android to Vimeo and all in between.
The average file was about 220mb which is what I am accustomed to, as most all I do is for web Youtube, using Adobe's option of a Youtube out option on the drop down.
That being stated:
What should I use (drop dn option) that won't be pixelated and blown out for future submission and what size should my file be avg? (5 min short 24fps 1280 not a lot of graphics just a few transitions, title, credits and such.)
THIS IS NOT DCP necessary. I know cloud has that I am on CS6, the old style stuff.
Thanks
SF
