AME CC 2014 Can't Add Presets HELP!

I am on a Mac OS 10.9.4

I get a spinning beach ball every time I try to add a preset. If I import a preset  it works temporarily.

But the preset seems to disappear from the menu, replaced by a h264  with no information?

If I attempt to delete the preset, again a spinning beach ball and I have to force quit.

Premiere CC2014  sees the imported preset.

I have deleted the prefs, reinstalled AME, held down shift when launching, and checked the permissions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
