I created a PAL SD anamorphic video file using Media Encoder CS5.5.
The file looks good except that there are black lines on each side of the picture when I look at it on my HD monitor. When viewed on my computer monitor using Quicktime there are no black lines.
The black lines are minimal but they are there. They remind me of looking at a SD picture in underscan mode.
I also created the same kind of file using a KONA 3 card and when I look at it on the same monitor the picture fills the screen perfectly.
I am just trying to figure out if there is something I can with the settings in Media Encoder to have the picture fill the screen.
