Change default or mass-change Source Range? Or change default image clip length?

I'm trying to convert a bunch of JPEG images to 15-second MP4 videos.  I can't figure out a good way to batch this...

I tried importing all the images into AME (CC 2014) but the clip length for each image defaults to 5 seconds, and I don't see a way to change that.

I then tried importing the images into Premiere with the Default Still Image Duration set to 15 seconds.  That adds Clip In/Out markers to each image in Premiere, but when I attempt to export all the images from Premiere to AME, the Source Range setting of each clip defaults to "Entire Clip" (which is 12 hours rather than 15 seconds).  I can change the source range to "Clip In/Out" for each image individually, but changing the setting with all images selected doesn't work (it just changes one image's setting - the rest keep "Entire Clip").

Is there a good way to convert a batch of images to videos of a specific length?  Really scratching my head here. It seems like a simple operation but I can't figure out a good method.
