AVI is "corrupted" except in CS5, but then it only exports audio

I have to convert an AVI file to FLV (so I'm limited to CS6 and before), but every time I try to drag it into CS6 (or CC 2014 to try a different conversion), it says the file is corrupted.

I can import to CS5, but the conversion only provides the audio, not the video, in all conversion types I've tried (FLV, MP4, AVI, MOV, etc).

I've tried placing the AVI file in the simplest file path (on my desktop) and tried changing the AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder\6.0 to 6.0.1 and neither of those worked.

I don't have access to the original video build as this is from a client who made it using some online presentation recorder.

I also attempted to load it into Premier CS5, but that also only pulled in the audio.

Is it possible to convert this video?
