Hi everyone - I'm using both the CC2014 and older CC versions of the Media Encoder to convert WMVs for use in Captivate 5.5. The software was installed onto a brand new machine, so originally when I dragged a clip into the Queue (in both versions), the Source and Output windows would show only black and would render only black.
I subsequently found out that Quicktime needed to be installed which I did (For Windows 7).
Now both encoders show the content cut off half way down in both the Source and Output windows; the content plays back and when it is encoded (as an flv in CC for example), it renders out cut off as well.
The Basic Video Settings are set to Match Source so it's not a cropping issue. I have two monitors and have seen quirks where issues arise on different monitors - the graphics card is an NVidia Quadro K2100M.
No matter what Format I select for output, the result is the same. The software knows the correct proportions of the source video, just the top half is cut off - i.e. black.
Is this something experienced by anyone else?
thanks
Frank
