AMECC2015 CUDA problems (OS Yosemite 10.10.3, GTX970, h.264)

Hey guys,

Whenever I try to render something in Adobe Media Encoder CC 2015 (results replicated in Premiere Pro CC 2015, the different GUI notwithstanding), I get terrible results.

I'm running OS Yosemite 10.10.3 on a GTX970 card (on a z79x UD7 board, with an intel 4790K) and I'm trying to render a fifteen minute clip into h.264.  I have the current web driver for the card and the current CUDA driver installed, and I am able (and indeed do) select the CUDA option in encoder.  Encoder starts the render and runs *incredibly* slowly, giving me an ETA of upward from twenty hours for completion.

On the same hardware I've tried the render in a Windows environment -- I still get slow results but nowhere near as slow.  Still nothing remotely usable.

I am yet to test if this occurs with other codecs, or types of compression.  I'm in the process of trying an old copy of CS5.5 to see if that solves anything.  Trying OpenCL or Software Only seems to do nothing to change the problem.  This issue was not occurring in CC2014 (although I was getting weird forcequit errors with that, but that's neither here nor there).

I've been wrestling with this for the better part of the whole weekend, so I'd love it if someone can point me in the right direction -- as of right now all reliable fixes I've found online have been only applicable to software two or three revisions ago.  The last time I encountered something like this, the fix was me waiting a few months for a software patch.  I'm hoping that won't be the case this time, lols.
