We use Adtec DPI-1200 units for commercial insertion on our digital cable system. We had no problems with Media Encoder CS 5.5. When we upgraded to CC 2015, the audio gets really choppy. In order to conform with the federal law about commercial volume, we also pass every spot through a Dolby DP600 Program Optimizer to make sure the volume of the spots is on level with the networks. The CC 2015 version of ME has that same optimization built in, but the choppy audio playback on our insertion equipment doesn't allow us to use it. It doesn't matter if we run it through the DP600 or not, it still has the same choppy audio. It's only on the playback through the Adtec equipment that we have the problem. If I play back the files on a computer, the audio seems fine.
So, does anyone have any suggestions for settings that I can try in CC 2015 to make the audio playback work so we can bypass the Dolby machine?
