I'm creating an update to a film to be played on a Brightsign Roku XD1030. The original film was encoded by CS6. The new update was encoded with CC using the same settings. The XD1030 player has problems starting playback with the files created in CC. WinPCs and Macs play the MP4s flawlessly from both CS6 and CC, but on the Brighsign the CC encoded file plays audio for a second, then picture cuts on a second late, then a moment with only picture, then both audio and picture play the remainder of the file fine. This required me to go back to CS6 to encode, which worked perfectly.
The source file is 1920 x 1080 x 29.97, ProRes 444 Stereo audio.
What is different between the MP4 (h.264) encoders in AME?
