Automatic downmixing 4 mono channels to stereo

Hi!

I have a quick question:

I've received a videofile with 4 discrete audio channels. 2 mono tracks (left and right) with commentary + 2 mono tracks (left and right) without commentary.

Track 1: Mono Left - Mix with Commentary

Track 2: Mono Right - Mix with Commentary

Track 3: Mono Left - Mix without commentary

Track 4: Mono Right - Mix without commentary

The question is: Will simply dropping this file into Adobe Media Encoder, and encoding it to H.264 with stereo output, will it ignore track 3 and track 4 (without the commentary)?

Or will it mash the two left channels and the two right channels (all 4) together so that the stereo mix won't quite have the right levels as the two left and right tracks will amplify eachother?

Is the only way to encode this file in Adobe MEdia Encoder with 1 stereo track,  to take the file into Adobe Premiere, manually remove track 3 and 4, and then render the file?

Bonus question: Is there a way for Adobe Media Encoder to normalize the audio track befor transcoding, and then set a desired dB level?

Thank you very much for any replies.

-Simon
