How to encode to a video for an iphone?

Back story: I used premiere pro to make the videos i needed, but to keep them the same dimensions i ended up exporting them as these huge files (500 and 700mb). I need to upload the videos to instagram, therefore i need to make them able to be transferred onto my iphone.

So i downloaded encoder and no matter how i encode them using the "iphone" option, it keeps rendering them with the black bars at the side. I obviously do not want the black bars so i click match source in the video options but then it changes the encoder setting to "custom" which doesnt allow it to be played on my iphone.

Is there any way i can encode the videos WITHOUT the black bars so that i can save them to my iphone and then put them on instagram?

I have added the pictures for reference.

Pic 1: Trying to export using the iphone preset, giving it black bars

Pic 2: The source

Pic 3: Changing the video settings to "match source" , creating a custom preset unable to play on iphone

(I also welcome suggestions doing this using premiere pro to export the videos then save them to my phone because i still have them saved as pproj files.)Screenshot (23).pngScreenshot (22).png
