Hi everyone!
I am doing the following task: I have a bunch (23) of short clips (around 30sec each) already rendered out as H.264 .mp4 video files. I import them into After Effects - each file into a separate comp - and I put a simple text watermark (Sample Video - property of blahblahblah) on each. Then I send each comp to the Media Encoder in a render queue (see screenshot). Nothing fancy, nothing complicated, just a text on an mp4 video.
Now my problem is that the first video in the queue rendered out in about 5 minutes - just as I expected for such a render job - BUT the second one in the queue is rendering for more than 5 and a half hours!!! It's a different source file, yes, but all settings had been the same, the length is 29sec, it is way out of proportion, it is surreal and I can't find an explanation. Please see screenshot!
I haven't got to the third in the queue, I guess it will be important to see how fast that one renders out, but already this is very strange and annoying.
My PC is a strong beast, with an i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, with 32GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 card..
Any ideas are welcome!!! Thx!!
