I am using Adobe CC 2015.
This is my computer spec:
OS: Hackintosh El Capitan
Processor: Intel i5 2.6 - overclocked to 3.2
RAM: 8GB
I do music video visualizations. Most of the songs I do are 2-3 min. Render time vary between 45 mins to 1.5h depending on the animation I use.
But I had instances when rendering longer music videos 6 mins the render time increases significantly. It takes 8-50h. Also the render start with a estimate of 1.5 - 2h which is ok but as the time passes the estimate becomes useless inaccurate and the time raises.
This render settings I use:
Project are made in AE and rendered in Adobe Media Encoder.
Format: 1920x1080
FPS: 23.9
Bit rate: 8
Extension: mp4
My first guess was the increasing temp of the CPU but it works at constant 95 C and it's stable. This doesn't effect the shorter videos, CPU reaches this temp after 5 min of work. I even tried pausing the render waiting for the CPU to cool down and resume but this doesn't help.
I also checked the activity monitor and all the resources are used by render process so there is not a problem there.
My remaining guess is the cache but I am total noob in this field and doesn't know how it works or if it could be the problem.
Anyone had similar problems, or know anything that could help me.
Thanks!
