AME error message

Since day one of me using AME, about 10 months ago, I have had this error message appear. Sometimes, (usually after I have cleared out any previously processed sequences) when I run AME and go File > Add Premiere Pro Sequence I get this error message;

clicking Continue brings up another similar message. After 5 times the errors stop. I have worked out that its down to the card reader which is installed in the computer, as its occupies drives F G I J K (H is not used as its a mapped network drive). With no card(s) in the reader, AME thinks its missing 5 "hard disks". Is there a way to stop AME from seeing these drives? I'm thinking a registry hack or similar?
