Adobe Media Encoder Fail - need help please

I keep getting a failed error when trying to use Adobe Media Encoder.

I open up my premiere project and select the comp I want.  I switch the format to Quicktime, select h.264 from preset.  Hit the start button and I get the failed sound/icon.

2 questions:

1. My comp is 1920x1080 but when I go in it automatically has it as 720... why is it not recognizing the comp size?

2. Is there a way to fix this error?  It seems to export occassionally to my C drive (which is not raid) but it fails to my F drive (Raid 10).  But usually if I export as a wmv or something smaller it exports fine to F.

720p MP4 Export settings

Hello Forum,

Can anyone recommend decent quality 720p MP4 settings with an MPEG4 container?

I can only do 720p versions in a quicktime or h264 container which will not play in windows.

Source is ProRes 422 1080p.  Client requests MP4.  However, the settings for MP4 under the MPEG4 container does not allow for a high enough data rate for 720p.

Thanks!

How to change variable frame rate to constant?

Hello,

I am exporting a mpeg HDV file that has a constant frame rate to a H264 video (.mp4) video to upload to a web-base video player. I'm actually using the preset in Media Encoder "YouTube HD 720p 29.97".

The online video web interface I use requires a constant frame rate. But when looking at the video in MediaInfo it shows the video file as a variable frame rate. After looking through the settings in Media Encoder I cannot find any option to correct that.  I see where you can change the frame rate and it is at 29.97. So you would think it would be constant but it is not. And it does not have any settings, that I can see, to change from variable to constant. I do see the bitrate settings, but that is not the issue.

I also have Apple Compressor and that successfuly does a constant frame rate, but if possible I'd rather use Adobe Media Encoder. So does anybody know how to change this setting? Thank you

Adobe Media Encoder Network Rendering of Premiere Pro Projects have Audio Issues

I have a peculiar problem using Adobe Media Encoder 2015.4 to render out Premiere Pro 2015.4 projects on a network machine. I can render out the projects properly on the machine that the files are local to, but on the network machine, the audio either is static or it is missing tracks altogether. I tried multiple audio and video codecs to make sure it wasn't one in particular that got corrupted, but no change. I am using the h.264 codec with AAC stereo audio with my current export settings. Both machines are Windows 10, and are signed in with the same Microsoft account. Prior to the 2015.4 update, the issue did no exist with the current setup as I described.

problem: import image sequence in adobe media encoder

Hi

have a problem with adobe media encoder CS6, in media encoder preferences I change the Display Format to 25 frame timecode, I import a serial of TGA (170 frame) to media encoder as a TGA image file Sequence, this serial generated from 3D Max and ToonBoom applications, the specification of TGA serial 1080 50i "1920X1080 - upper filed - 25 fps", when I import the sequence, media encoder recognize the sequence as 1920X1080 - progressive - 29.97 fps, in interpret Footage options window I change the settings of the sequence to upper filed - 25 fps, and I export it to quicktime mov 1920X1080 - upper filed - 25 fps uncompressed

the problem:

the duration of mov file is 06:20 and that is correct for 170 frame as 25 fps but the mov file not contain all tga serial image, the image freeze at time code 05:16 (frame number 142) and duplicate the frame 142 to the rest of movie file

if I don't change the frame rate in interpret Footage options window for the tga sequence which media encoder recognize it as 29.97 fps, the mov file contain all TGA frames but with duration of 05:16 which not 25 fps

in adobe media encoder CS5.5 I don't get this problem at all

1- how to solve this problem ??

2- how to force adobe media encoder CS6 to recognize the imported image sequence as 25 fps frame rate ??

Windows 7 Ultimate SP1, Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection CS6

thanks

Media Encoder is not linking video size correctly

Hi,

I need some help, I have just download the new Adobe CC and now I wish I had not! I am having a problem with rendering out After Effects (AE) files in Adobe media encoder (AME). AME is not linking to the file correctly and when I render out a 1080p video in AME it is rendering it out as 480x270 even if I select match source nothing changes. If I set the size in AME physically then the video is the correct size but the quality is terrible.

Screen Shot 2016-11-09 at 6.50.08 am.png

The composition settings in AE are set to 1080p and I have been rendering things out like this until this recent download with not problems. I am currently going back to Adobe CC (15.3) to see if that will fix my issue. This is a screen shot of the AE composition setting

Please help this is really F@#king me over and super annoying.

Thanks

Media Encoder Export to h.264 Keeps Erroring

I am using the YouTube 1080p 30fps preset and twice now I have had an export of the same project fail. The error log states:

"File importer detected an inconsistency in the file structure of Accident Reenactment.mp4.  Reading and writing this file's metadata (XMP) has been disabled.

The result is a small file of 24 bytes, so the video doesn't even get created. I have exported this same project to DVD and ProRes with no issue, so I have no idea what the problem is.

Here is the whole section from this export:

No audio when using 2017 Media Encoder

Hi,

I'm having issues with the 2017 version of Media Encoder.

To start, I exported my files from Adobe Premiere CC 2017 version. I have no problems with audio. Sound is there with the file(s). Everything looks good.

Then, when I use the media encoder to change to another format, I get no audio at all. All of my clips from the new ME has no audio.

I have cleaned the media cache from both Premiere and ME. I also re-installed Media Encoder 2017. So far, nothing has worked. Still no audio on files.

Everything was fine with previous version. Any suggestions?

Using Encoder to convert a DVD to a single (MP4) file

I currently have Adobe Media Encoder CC. I have a number of family DVDs that I would like to convert each to a single digital file for online storage. All these DVDs have menus. If possible I like the menu part to also be converted -- I know it will not be interactive but its presence will show what all is there.

I know that I can convert individual VOB files to MP4.

Question 1: Is it possible to convert all video VTS*.VOB files (preferably with the menu) into a single MP4?

Question 2: If the above is not possible, is there an option in AME to merge the resulting MP4 files into a single file?

Question 3: If the above approach is not optimal, what is the best way to convert DVD files into a single digital file (with or without the menu part).

Many thanks in advance!

Media Encoder cc2015.3 NO AUDIO?

Running an HD render from the new AE via "Add to Media Encoder Queue" to the new Media Encoder.

Everything encodes perfectly......  except the audio?
(Tried rendering to H264 .mp4, AND .wmv, both have same issue)

Audio is checked on, so it's not a mistake with my render settings

Anyone else?

Fast Start Encoding Option?

$

Hi,

I've been searching online and reading through the forum articles about exporting from Premiere and AME with the 'Fast Start' encoding option for quicktime movie files in the h.264 codec.

A lot of the information I've gathered is around the 'moov atom' and how it's commonly placed at the end of a file. For the progressive nature of playback to occur this atom apparently needs to be at the beginning of the file. Forum articles and others have suggested using third party, line based applications to change this atom position. This seems ridiculous to me as it complicates my workflow.

I have recently switched from the Apple Studio products to Adobe's and in the past I would simply check 'encode for fast start' on the export menu and this would encode the file properly.

Does Adobe have this function built into the program? Am I overlooking something? Is there is a better workflow that I am unaware of?

How best can I encode my videos so that they will buffer a small amount and then progressively download the rest as the viewers watches it?

Thank you all kindly in advance for your help.

Hello.

I am new to Abode After Effects CC and its Adobe Media Encoder CC

I have made a video in AE cc for youtube purpose.

I saved the file as a AE File and opened the AME cc Encoder,

I have opend the AE file in AMEcc and put it in H.264  - HD 1080p 29.97 (Target Rate 32Mbps)

When I tell it to render, It says its going to take 23 Hours. It started at 8 hours, and went all the way up to 26 hours, and has now sat at 23 hours.

Its a 30 Minute clip

Please can you tell me where I am going wrong.

I used to use AE 5, and I used to render  30 minute videos with AME 5 within an hour, maybe an hour and a half,

I have only a 4GB RAM But we have moved this file that we are trying to render to another PC that has 8GB of Ram// Win 7,

I am working on a video that is encoded as ProRes 4444 in Premiere Pro and AE, when I finish I need to export the timeline in ProRes4444, but this seems to be missing from the list of codecs.

I do have Uncompressed 10bit 4 2 2.

Searched google and found a few sites that claim to sell this codec, but I don't want to part with money if it's not something I need.

Just to be clear, this is a Windows machine (win7)
