Hey guys!
I'm a consultant in a broadcast room and we are currently working on updating our workflow. As of right now I have hit a little bit of a roadblock. We have a play back server by Grass Valley called a K2, it takes MXF files better than any fomat so we have made that our standard format for video playback. Converting to MXF from any video fromat works flawlessly with Adobe Media Encoder, I have set up a Watch folder and told the media managers in the room to drop the files they want encoded into a specified folder on the desktop and it will convert it to MXF. Then I changed the output folder to a shared folder on the K2 system. The roadblock I have hit is when we want to back convert these files. Likewise the K2 will allow me to save out the videos as MXF's so I created another watchfolder in the Shared folder titled "Pro Res 422". My goal was that the media managers could send the MXF from the K2 to that folder and they would then be transcoded as a MOV Pro Res 422. This obviously works and I get a MOV file but every single video has failed red frames, and it always seems like its the exact same frame no matter what video. It's always around 30 seconds.
Below are the transcode settings I have, system infromation and version.
All help is appreciated! Thank you!
