No Audio From Source

Hi guys,

I'm trying to convert .mts files to .f4v or some other working format in AME but AME shows that there is No Audio in the source as below.

noaudio.jpg

When I click the encode button, true enough, the output file doesn't have any audio in them.

I'm 100% sure my .mts files have audio in them, I can hear them pretty loudly when played in VLC.

Any idea why and how to resolve this? Thank you.

Exporting Premiere Pro CS6 project to AVI

Can sounds a little funny, but since I've upgraded to Creative Cloud CS6 I am experiencing troubles finding out how to convert any file to AVI output format. I can't find the right format in the Presets pannel for that (amongst the system presets in the panel on the right).

Abobe Media Encoder is Now Broke After Update!

Hi,

To my dismay, I discovered that Media Encoder no longer exports mp4 files. Each time I try it now, it exports a file with the extension m4v instead of mp4, and it will not play. This is CS6 on a MacBook Pro running mountain lion. It was working previously before the latest update from Adobe. Anyone else experiencing this?

When I try and play back the m4v file, I am seeing this error.

thx

Media Encoder CS6 doesn't export any of the common formats like .MOV, .AVI, .AIFF .WAV, etc.

When I queue exports from Premiere CS6,  Media Encoder totally ignores any custom export settings, and chooses some completely different system defined default settings, which I did not choose in Premiere. In previous versions Premiere would always pass the encoding settings to the Media Encoder.

Update: When I tried to import the custom settings into Adobe Media Encoder, I got an error message: "Preset could not be imported. No exporter found for this preset." Then I've realized, that AEM doesn't even have a QuickTime export format!!! Actually it offers only 4 export formats: H.264 (MP4), FLV, F4V, and MP3. Then, when I queue an export with Premiere with one of those 4 formats, then AEM would accept it. Anything else - it just wouldn't work!!! So wait - am I missing something, or I literally cannot queue any other common format exports with AEM??? I need to work with MOV, AVI, AIFF, WAV etc. files, which all aren't accepted by the Media Encoder... Or am I missing something???

This is ridiculous. I am becoming quite fed up with Premiere CS6 bundle - in 20 minutes I have found already 4 diferent features, that worked in previous versions, and work no more in CS6

I don't know how it worked in CS5.5 - anybody?

Exporting Premiere Pro CS6 project fails to encode with certain assets in timeline

I just upgraded to Creative Cloud and enjoyed until it came time to render my first video.

The Media Encoder crashes no matter what I do!!!!!

I am rendering timelines with Canon MXF files and I need to transcode them to AVI so my friend can use them in his older version of Vegas.

I even tried encoding just a simple 15sec timeline with a few 5 second clips and that crashed too.

I NEVER had an issue with the previous version when i was using CS5.5.

What has changed???? I am very disaapointed whats the point of my editing a project if i can't ever output it????

I have several client project due and now I can't finish any of them. And your India based tech support doesn't even know what Adobe Media Encoder is!!!!!

Export Error. Error compiling movie. Disk Full.

I have the following error since CS6 when exporting some videos: Export Error. Error compiling movie. Disk Full.

All my drives have plenty of space, NTFS 7200rpm, everything was fine with CS5.5. Same problem with Encoder or Premiere Pro.

Much of the stuff I export is going fine but I have this error with some sequences and formats.

It always crash to this error when exporting sequences with "Match Sequence Settings".

For one of my projects, when exporting to wmv, out of 6 sequences one always crash to Export Error. Error compiling movie. Disk Full.

If I encode those sequences to mpeg2, everything is fine.

I installed the new update this morning but it doesn't help.

How do I install the DNxHD and Cineform codecs? (Missing from AME 6 )

I have downloaded the free versions of both of these codecs in the hopes of being able to transcode to each as an intermediate codec for my AVCHD files. The problem is that neither shows up in either my Premiere Pro CS6 or Adobe Media Encoder Import/Export options? What gives? Did I miss something here? How do I get the option to transcode or encode to DnxHD or Cineform on a PC version of CS6?

Media Encoder Stops Encoding with the New CS5.5

I just upgraded to CS5.5 a yesterday and having some issues encoding an 1 1/2 program for a DVD. The program doesn't seem to crash per se, just stops encoding. The task manager says it's running. I tried to encode the same sequence, but shorter and have the in and out points go through the part where it always stops and it worked fine. It's just when I try the entire sequence it stops. Anyone have any experience like this with CS5.5 just coming out?

Thank you,

Doug

Quicktime Export options are missing (only in AME)

Hey,

I already searched around for a while and also found another thread in this board, as well some info in the official documentation, saying that AME only installs certain export options, if it's not installed within the proper package of applications (like premiere or after effects).

Well, I did install it as part of the Master Collection, and also have both Premiere and AFX up and running.

The Initial install was a horrible procedure, since there was still some photoshop cs6 beta file lurking around and just wouldnt leave, even with the CS cleaner tool.

When I finally managed to install CS6, everything worked fine, except one major flaw.. When I export a file from premiere as a quicktime, everyhting works as it should. But when I hit "send to AME", the quicktime preset just doesnt make it's way over to the media encoder, but I have only h264 and 4 other formats to choose from. Just no QT available. (I'm on a mac).

I already tried installing the entire package over the original installation, but it didnt help. I also have CS6 installed on my macbook, where everything works perfectly fine. I compared the media encoder folder on both machines and it's identical in size. In the library I wasn't able to find any media encoder related files.

Please, does anyone have any Idea how to get QT export in ame up and running again without going through a complete cleansing of my system and reinstall the whole package? I'm in the middle of a project now and would really like to have it working.

(it worked before in cs5, btw)

Why this option doesn't exist?

I need to manage different queues to recover the different video sets.

How can I do it?

Audio out of sync

I am trying to encode a two hour sequence and the audio is completely out of sync in a few locations.  I encoded this same sequence 4 times and each time the audio is out of sync is different areas.  All the footage was shot with an HD Flip Cam, and I've been encoding footage shot on the this camera for 5 months with no problems.  It plays perfectly in Premiere.  The sequence is twice the length as my others, but I can't imagine Adobe can't handle that.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem might be?  I'm trying to encode the video to Windows media.  The footage is 1280x720 (1), 30,000 fps, 44100 Hz-compressed.

The sequence is 1280x720 (1) 29,97 fps 48000 Hz - Stereo.

I'm on a learning curve here as I'm still learning editing as well as understanding Adobe.

Any help would be so very appreciated.

Thanks,

Jules

AME CS5.5 hangs on "Reading XMP"

$

Been having this issue ever since I upgraded to 5.5...

Finish a video in Premiere, export to AME, click the play/start encode. In the encode status, it gets to "Processing: Reading XMP" and simply hangs there indefinitely (hours). Clicking to stop/pause the encode doesn't actually stop it, only way to do anything is to force-quit AME. Then it won't re-open until a restart. Only way I can export my final video from Premiere is the direct export, which works well enough when it's a single video basis, but when I want to do a batch of exports, or continue editing something else while exporting, this completely puts me at a stand-still.

Any idea what's with AME just stalling out on me here?

I am trying to download media encoder 6 for creative cloud for teams? Not on product list.

I am trying to download media encoder 6 for creative cloud for teams? Not on product list. Is it included in premiere pro download? If no can I download it as a standalone or an upgrade for my desktop creative suite 5.5?

What does "reading xmp..." actually mean?

$

I know this may seem like a silly question, but i cannot find the answer to it anywhere. Some projects take ages to get past this stage, others don't. What is media encoder doing whilst displaying "Reading XMP..."? One project in particular stays on that for a very long time (it hasn't yet got past it and it's been ten minutes!) - it is a 3 hour long timeline with DSLR footage etc, but right now i am only trying to render out the first 2 minutes of it as a test. Do XMP files become corrupt, could this be why it sometimes gets stuck on reading xmp for a long time?

I am running a custombuilt macpro (it works perfectly fine!!) with an i7 3.9GHz CPU, 16gb ram and a geforce gtx560ti gfx card on Lion 10.7.5, I have no plans to upgrade to Mountain Lion as I already tried and it slowed my system down to the pace of a snail.

Any help is much appreciated!

AME CC clipping last frame of encode

Hi!

I've noticed that there are some bugs with 2-pass VBR (h.264) encoding with the CC edition, but I'm seeing a different one where the last frame of my encodes is being clipped. Has this been seen by anyone else?

Thanks!

Missing Formats (.mov, image seq, mpeg, etc) in AME CS6 and CS6.01

$

AME CS6 even with the update 6.01 is still missing formats such as Quicktime, all of the image sequnce formats(png, jpg, tga, etc), Mpegs the list just goes on.

I have CS6 Master collection full installed

Quicktime x

FCP 7 pro with suite

Avid MC6

and all the codecs a proffesional editor would need.

I have already re installed CS6 3x (nothing changed so if anyone suggest a re install i will just assume you are stupid and cant read english)

AE and Pr both give me all the formats including, Quicktime, all of the image sequnce formats(png, jpg, tga, etc), Mpegs.

I have checked the contents of AME which has all of the required import and export bundles associated with these formats but the programs still refuses to give them as options.

Spending the last few days trying to find a solution and all i can find is typical basic level support from adobe and other sources

Yes adobe my computer is plugged in.

yes adobe MY MAC DOES IN FACT HAVE QUICKTIME.

yes adobe i did spend a hefty chunk of change for a Creative suite that has more issues out the box than i would care to waste my time detailing them all.

My questions is Adobe

Do you know what is causing this issue?

Do you have a solution to this issue?

If so is it in the form of an update or at least instructions on how a user can fix your issue?

update 6.01 is not a solution if you were going to suggest that. ( i have applied this update each time with re install of MC CS6)

Outputting 4096 x 2048

4K-render.JPG

I have to output a 4k Premiere Pro CS6 sequence for inclusion in an After Effects comp on a Windows PC but am unable to find a suitable AME output module.

When I create a Red Cinema sequence in PP and export it from AME using Match Sequence Settings, the exported footage is 1080.  I notice that the sequence Video Preview is set to MPEG I-Frame 1920 x 1080, but am unable to change it.

Dynamically linking the sequence to AE does create the correct comp dimensions of 4096 x 2948, but this is not a production option as I will not be comping the AE work.

Can anyone please advise me of a successful 4096 x 2048 high-quality PC-based output module for AME.

Many thanks.
