Media Encoder CC not starting

Windows7 64 bit

Media Encoder CC (7.0.1)

AME worked a while. I exported a couple of jobs to it's queue. All good. Tried to cancel the jobs and it seemed to hang. Had to kill the application from task manager.

Since then AME will not run. It crashes on startup. No splash screen.. nothing. Appears briefly in task manager then dissapears.

I have deleted all files from C:\Users\login\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder\7.0

Have reinstalled PremierProCC after uninstalling and using the cleanup tool.

Still no luck. Is there a queue file anywhere that should be deleted?  A registry entry maybe?

I'm new to using AME. I'm trying to convert WMV file to FLV. I have 5 files that were all recorded with GoTo Meeting by the same person on the same day. The files were saved to a shared drive. Now when I try to add them to AME to convert them, only two files worked. I received the following error message for the other three:

What can I do to fix this?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I just edited a video i recorded with my iphone 6, after i finished i tried using media encoder to render the video but when I view the exported video it is one second or maybe one frame long also my video takes no time at all to export, almost like its not rendering.

I'm exporting in MOV and I am using a free trial, i also am not getting any errors.

(Not sure if it matters but since i recorded it with a iphone the video file is called IMG_9533)

Export Error. Error compiling movie. Disk Full.

I have the following error since CS6 when exporting some videos: Export Error. Error compiling movie. Disk Full.

All my drives have plenty of space, NTFS 7200rpm, everything was fine with CS5.5. Same problem with Encoder or Premiere Pro.

Much of the stuff I export is going fine but I have this error with some sequences and formats.

It always crash to this error when exporting sequences with "Match Sequence Settings".

For one of my projects, when exporting to wmv, out of 6 sequences one always crash to Export Error. Error compiling movie. Disk Full.

If I encode those sequences to mpeg2, everything is fine.

I installed the new update this morning but it doesn't help.

CS5 Adobe Media Encoder: Encode failed because the source duration is nil.

I've been running Production Premium on my new Windows 7 64bit, 6GB i7 system for several weeks now and haven't had any issues exporting to the Media Encoder.

I installed the trial version of Dreamweaver without any of the add-on's as I thought they might mess up my licensed installation.

Every attempt to export -> media -> queue get's the following error in AMEEncodingErrorLog.txt

- Source File: C:\Users\Rob\AppData\Local\Temp\someproject.prproj
- Output File: C:\Users\Rob\Videos\someproject.mov

Encode failed because the source duration is nil.

Doing the export directly from PP works without error, but I don't want to wait for each export to complete.

Any ideas other than reinstall PP?

TIA

How to make an animated GIF?

$

Hello! I've just tried a trial of Animate CC + Adobe Media Encoder.

I have a very simple task to make an animated GIF out of my .fla file.

But when I try making that in AME I cannot(!) make a single animated GIF. It always gives me a sequence of gif images. But I need a single file (just what good old Flash could do via it's Publish menu).

So my question is: how can I export a single gif animation?

Thank you.

AE will not transfer to AME

Have upgraded to the 2019 version of After Effects (16.0.0 Build 235) and the 2019 version of Media Encoder (13.0 build 203) I am not able to render my footage in Media Encoder. It won't connect to the Dynamic Link Server.
I am able to drag and drop my composition from AE to AME (sometimes) But when I try to render the composition it gets stuck on 'connecting to the Dynamic Link server'.

I have tried to delete everything, reinstalling, logging in and out.

Using mac High sierra.

I tried a clean install on a windows 10 computer(this computer had no previously adobe programs on it), and then it seemed to work fine.

Hi - I recently updated media converter.  I am trying to convert a batch of WAV files to MP3.  I am using the same process I always used successfully before the update but when I click on 'start queue' nothing happens. I don't get any error messages, I've tried pressing return instead of clicking the arrow and i've tried file>start queue. Does anyone have an idea what's going wrong?  I've attached a screenshot below.  Thanks

Can't import FLV files into media encoder

$

Hey there!

I've recently updated my Media Encoder to version 13.0.2 and now I can't import FLV files into it. I made the mistake of saving my recordings as FLV files and would like to convert them to MP4s. All the available sources online say that I can use Media Encoder for this conversion, however, when I import the files a "File Import Failure" box pops up with an error message that reads "The source compression type is not supported".

I would really like to edit these files in premiere pro and would first like to compress and convert them in media encoder. Is there any way around this? Please let me know.

Cheers!

Video and Audio out of sync after rendering with AME

I'm rendering gameplay videos, with one audiotrack for my microphone and one for the PC-, ingamesound. After rendering with Premiere Pro 2015.4 everything is fine.

But with Media Encoder 2015.4 the gameplay video is about 15 frames before the sound. I have an 4 seconds intro, which is in sync, so I don't get, why the gameplay material get's out of sync.

When you need more Information to help me, let me know.

Create Loops in Media Encoder?

$

Hello,

is it possible to create Loops in Media Encoder?

I have a 6min clip which I need to loop as many times to get a 12 hours movie. (I want to have the loop as one .mp4 h.264 file).

It would be no problem to built my clip as 12 hours movie before using Media Encoder to create the .mp4. But this way it takes forever to convert it. I was just wondering if it is possible to tell Media Encoder "Loop this clip x-times".... That way Media Encoder would not have to encode 12 hours but only  6 Minutes and then write it x times.? Right?

Just to avoid the upcoming question "why": I have good reason to built the loop as 12hour movie and NOT to have the player loop my 6min clip. The player I have to use simply loop unreliably.

THANKs!

Export Error

Hello, had this problem since the start of the year were I'd bring a video to be exported, into media encoder, get to a certain point, and either :

1. the video would stop rendering, and say it came across an error (with the 'baaaa' sound)

2. media encoder itself would crash completely, and pop up with a send crash report

3. media encoder would just completely close itself with out a send crash report window

No audio when using 2017 Media Encoder

$

Hi,

I'm having issues with the 2017 version of Media Encoder.

To start, I exported my files from Adobe Premiere CC 2017 version. I have no problems with audio. Sound is there with the file(s). Everything looks good.

Then, when I use the media encoder to change to another format, I get no audio at all. All of my clips from the new ME has no audio.

I have cleaned the media cache from both Premiere and ME. I also re-installed Media Encoder 2017. So far, nothing has worked. Still no audio on files.

Everything was fine with previous version. Any suggestions?

Why Media Encoder doesn't render After Effects Motion Blur

$

I need a video I made in After Effect cc 2018 in H.264, so the only way to render is with Media Encoder cc2018 because After no longer has the Format for some reason in the cc version.

When I render my video in Media Encoder the result doesn't has the motion blur.

Why Adobe Media Encoder?

and How can i solve this?

Media Encoder Error "unable to produce frame" and "render returned error"

Hi there,

I've been having a ton of trouble getting a file to export out of media encoder. I finally tried just exporting in premiere and it worked, but of course AME would be the preferred option. It just gets halfway through the render and crashes. I tried exporting with the YouTube 1080 preset as I usually would, I tried rendering to Quicktime ProRes LT thinking maybe it was an h.264 compression issue, I tried rendering using preview files and had everything pre-rendered in Premiere. I tried rendering with software only and it still didn't work. I tried changing the output destination to the desktop instead of to my raid drive, but nothing worked until I just rendered it out of premiere.

I'm still in the midst of this project and really need the AME to work properly. Any suggestions?

These are just some of the many error messages I received:

Adobe Media Encoder won't start

$

Not OP, but I have the same problem. AME just won't run. Double click, it's loading, I can see the process in Windows Task Manager but it just goes away again. Tried deleting that watch folder .xml but not working. Here's my spec from the FAQ:

  • What version of Adobe Media Encoder? Include the minor version number (e.g., Adobe Media Encoder CS6 with the 6.0.1 update).
    • AME CC from premiere cc 7.0.1
  • What other Adobe applications do you have installed, and what application are you using Adobe Media Encoder with?
    • Premiere Pro. Premiere Pro
  • Have you installed the recent updates? (If not, you should. They fix a lot of problems.)
    • Used creative cloud to update to latest version
  • What operating system? This should include specific minor version numbers, like "Mac OSX v10.6.8"---not just "Mac".
    • Windows 7. All update patch installed.
  • Are you using Adobe Media Encoder through a Creative Cloud Membership subscription?
    • Yeah
  • What kind(s) of source footage? When telling about your source footage, tell us about the codecs, not just the container types. For example, "H.264 in a .mov container", not just "QuickTime".
    • N/A. App won't launch
  • If you are getting error message(s), what is the full text of the error message(s)?
    • No error message
  • Is the problem only occurring with a specific output format or encoding preset? If so, which one? If this is a custom preset not included with AME, then upload the preset file to a file-sharing site and provide a link.
    • No.
  • What were you doing when the problem occurred?
    • Booted up the computer. Launch AME.
  • Has this ever worked before?
    • Yes.
  • What other software are you running?
    • Google Chrome
  • Do you have any third-party codecs installed?
    • Avid DNxHD, Cineform Studio
  • Tell us about your computer hardware. Be especially certain to tell us about third-party I/O hardware (e.g., AJA, Matrox, Blackmagic, MOTU).
    • Regular desktop
  • Are you using Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration in Premiere Pro?
    • Yes.
